A homemade advent calendar
The pre-Christmas period is sweetened by daily surprises. And you can achieve this with a great, lovingly designed Advent calendar.
You can buy them in stationery and grocery stores or you can make your own Advent calendars.

- Children's socks
Socks in various sizes make great gift bags. Tie the socks to a bamboo pole and hang them on the wall or in front of the window. - Napkin bags
Wrap your gift bags with different napkins. This will give you all kinds of different shapes for your parcels. - Yoghurt pots
Collect 24 yoghurt or quark pots. To embellish the cups, you can wrap them with colorful paper or napkins. Another cute option is to decorate the cups with colorful cut-out figures, purchased glass beads, flowers or glue. - Matchboxes
Matchboxes are ideal for small gifts. Just like the yoghurt pots above, you can also decorate these boxes with colorful paper or glitter. - Candy packets
Place your gifts on crepe paper or wrapping paper and roll them up. Tie them together on both sides with colorful ribbons so that the overlapping paper sticks out. Use different types of paper and colors to create a brightly colored candy calendar.
You can store the packets you have made
