The magic hat
Cut a cardboard plate in half. Glue the sides on top of each other so that it fits on your child's head as a hat. Cut out a quarter circle from a thicker, colorful piece of paper. Your child can now paint, stick or stamp on this quarter. You can also stick on decorative stones or feathers. Or cut strips of crepe paper and stick one end to the tip of the quarter.
Now twist the colorful quarter into a bag and stick the sides together. Make small cuts along the bottom edge of the bag. Stick the bag onto the cardboard plate hat and glue it in place. If required, the magic hat can be further decorated.
For a better hold - punch a hole to the left and right of the edge of the cardboard plate using the hole punch. Pull a soft elastic band through a hole from the top and from the bottom to the top on the other side. Knot the ends. The hat is now ready for use.
The magic wand
Draw a star on each of two different colors of thicker paper. Cut them out. Glue the two stars together. Glue a straw between the two stars. Now it's time to decorate. Use felt-tip pens, punched-out motifs, gold foil, feathers, stamps or fine glass beads.
Masks - for the window
Fold an A4 sheet in half lengthways. Draw a mask and cut it out. Open the fold and place the mask on the table. The masks can be decorated with felt-tip pens, punched-out motifs, gold foil, feathers, stamps, strips of crepe paper or fine glass beads. Stick the masks to the window or door frame using suitable glue or adhesive tape.
