This way you can wrap the notes in an exciting way and the money doesn't get lost in an envelope.
Gifts of money are often inconspicuous. If you wrap the note(s) creatively and give them as a gift, the amount will be given more prominence and the money will receive more attention than if it is simply placed in an envelope.
Ideas for giving money notes as a creative gift:
- Roll up the notes individually and put them in a mouse trap and design a creative card with the saying, "I caught you some mice" to go with it.
- Fold the individual notes into butterflies and hang them with a thread on the inside of the lid of a jam jar. They will fly around in there and won't be able to escape.
- Fold the note into a heart and write on the card that this is for the fulfillment of a heart's desire.
- Buy a small piggy bank, put the money in it and give it away with the quote: "It has already received some nourishment."
- Roll up the notes and stick the individual rolls onto a card using transparent adhesive tape. Draw a flame above the rolls to make candles. Depending on the occasion of the gift, you can also add "Happy Birthday".
- If you have a frame with a passe-partout to hand, fold the notes into mountains and cut out pieces of white paper to place over the mountain peaks. Attach these to the sheet music with a little adhesive tape if necessary and lay the mountains overlapping to create a picture. Place these mountains behind the passe-partout and fix everything together in the frame. You can either wrap them or simply add a bow.
- If you want to give money as a travel gift, cut out an airplane with simple outlines from a card and stick the money behind it. With the saying "Traveling is a nice way to spend money and still get richer." then it fits quite well.
We hope you like one or two of these ideas and wish you lots of creativity and fun when giving banknotes as gifts.
