Algae are also healthy on the skin.
Teenagers love face masks. Yours too? You and your teenager can easily make your own face masks. For example, are you familiar with the black-green nori seaweed leaves used to roll sushi? Nori seaweed contains lots of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. These are not only healthy to eat, but can also be used for skin care.
There are different ways to make a face mask.
Variant 1
Soak the seaweed leaves in warm water and puree them into a smooth paste. Spread the mixture evenly over your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse off the mask with lukewarm water.
Variant 2
Grind dried algae or take a chlorella or spirulina algae powder from a specialist shop. Mix 1 tablespoon of algae powder with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of healing clay and a little water to the mixture. Spread the mixture evenly over your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse off the mask with lukewarm water.
Variations 3
If you want to do it quickly, you can also simply take a nori seaweed sheet and cut it to the shape of your face. Avoid the eyes, nose and mouth. Then moisten your face with lukewarm water and place the nori mask on your face for 10-15 minutes. After removing the mask, rinse your face again with lukewarm water.
Have fun preparing the sea vegetables - for once not for your stomach, but as food for your skin!
