Drinks for New Year's Eve

From simple to original

Toasting the New Year with champagne at midnight is part of "good manners". If champagne has become too monotonous for you, we have a few ideas for you to try out today. Of course, you can also enjoy the drinks during the New Year's Eve celebrations.

Midnight Kiss

You will need: approx. 1dl champagne, 0.5cl cognac, 0.5cl Grand Marnier and a small slice of orange for garnish

How to prepare the drink: Use a well-chilled champagne glass for this drink. Pour the cognac and Grand Marnier into the glass and slowly top up with the champagne.

Grapefruit "Frosé"

You will need: 250 ml rosé sparkling wine, 200 ml grapefruit juice (preferably freshly squeezed), around 200 ml crushed ice, a few mint leaves and a slice of grapefruit for decoration.

How to prepare the drink: Add the sparkling wine, juice and ice to a blender and process the ingredients until everything is nicely blended. Pour the drink into a cocktail glass and garnish with the mint and grapefruit wedge.

Kir Royal

You will need: Champagne or sparkling wine, a dash of redcurrant liqueur (crème de cassis) or other fruit liqueurs of your choice.

How to prepare the drink: Fill your champagne glass to ¾ full with well-chilled sparkling wine or champagne and add a dash of fruit liqueur.

Moscow Mule

You will need: 5 ml vodka, 200 ml cold ginger ale, a few ice cubes and a wedge of lime (about 1/8 of a lime).

How to prepare the drink: Fill a fancy glass of your choice with a few ice cubes. Squeeze the lime over the glass and add the remaining ingredients.
