How role models shape us

Role models shape us and play an important role in our lives.

These role models exert a strong influence on the development of individuals and shape their actions, beliefs and self-image. People adopt the behaviors, attitudes and skills of others through observational learning. This means that we learn how we should behave in certain situations by observing and imitating role models in our social environment.
