Kneading is fun

Play dough is great fun for children and encourages their creativity in a playful way. The dough you make yourself will keep for around 4-6 months in an airtight tin. The recipe is very easy to make and you probably already have all the ingredients at home. Try it out with your child.

Ingredients

200 ml boiling water

300 g flour

100 g salt

3 tbsp sunflower oil or other oil

2 tbsp lemon juice concentrate

Food coloring as desired

Procedure

Put the flour and salt in a large bowl and mix everything together well.

Add the oil, lemon juice concentrate and boiling water.

Knead the mixture well and add a little more water or flour as required.

Divide the mixture into equal pieces and color them individually with food coloring.
