The term work-life balance describes a state in which work and private life are in harmony with each other.
Finding your own balance takes time at first. Try to harmonize power phases and relaxation phases in such a way that you achieve a balance. There is no parameter for this. You alone can feel when you have found the right balance for you.
Tips for a good work-life balance
- When new tasks come your way, make sure that you let go of old ones in return. This will keep your balance even.
- Do something good for yourself once you have completed a task. Treat yourself to some time out to pursue a hobby. Or treat yourself to a delicious latte macchiato or ...
- Schedule half an hour of free time for yourself every day. During this time, only do things that make you "happy".
- Plan time for yourself. Ideally a whole day in which you only do things that are good for you and relax you.
- Maintain social contacts. Plan meetings and activities with your friends.
- Spending five minutes a day tidying or cleaning is more relaxing than doing everything in one day.
- Take time to prepare your food, arrange it beautifully and enjoy it.
- Get moving, it releases happiness hormones and relaxes you.
