Make your own fabric softener that is easy on the environment and inexpensive.
Do you love the scent of fresh laundry? Do you like your laundry to be soft? But do you want to stop using environmentally harmful and dangerous fabric softeners? Then try this simple and environmentally friendly fabric softener. It only contains vinegar from the supermarket and a little fragrance oil. During washing, the vinegar dissolves the limescale deposits from the textile fibers and makes your laundry soft again!
Ingredients
1 liter of white table vinegar
10 drops of lavender or orange oil.
Procedure
Add the essential oils to the table vinegar. Shake the bottle well. Add 2.5 dl of the mixture to the fabric softener compartment for each wash cycle.
And if your white laundry has a gray tinge , you are also well served with vinegar. Soak your laundry in a mixture of water and vinegar before the wash cycle. Pour a cup of vinegar into a washing tub and fill it with warm water. Leave the laundry to soak for around 30 minutes and then wash as normal.
