Timeout - take a break

Leave out what is too much

Feasting, indulging and sometimes overdoing it - everyone knows that. A time-out can do you good. It doesn't have to be giving up chocolate. It can be less television consumption, less beer or buying fewer clothes.

The Blue Cross campaign, timeout 2017, is perfect for this. The 33rd time:out campaign starts on March 5, 2017 and runs for six weeks until Easter Saturday on April 15, 2017. It's worth taking part again this year. There are great prizes to be won, making participation doubly worthwhile.

The time:out project aims to encourage people of all ages to give up a restrictive habit (tobacco or alcohol consumption, sweets, gaming, internet, etc.) for a certain period of time (1 to 6 weeks). By examining one's own habits, small addictions and superfluous habits are uncovered and questioned.

Giving up tobacco, alcohol, games, the internet or "anything" is hard, but it also motivates you to look at life from a new perspective and improve your quality of life .

Anyone who wants to can take part. Whether as an individual, as a duo or as a group.
