Festive drinks without alcohol

The scent of cinnamon, cloves and other Christmas spices is everywhere. While it's already cold outside, a hot punch or mulled wine is a wonderful way to warm up from the inside.

Below you will find tasty recipes for non-alcoholic cocktails and other festive drinks that will enrich your Christmas celebrations .

Mulled wine

  • 2 tbsp raspberry syrup
  • 1 pinch of cardamom
  • 1 pinch of cloves, ground
  • 20 g raisins
  • 1 l grape juice
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon, ground
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  1. Pour the grape juice, syrup, raisins and spices into a pan and simmer the mulled wine over a moderate heat for about half an hour.
  2. Add the lemon juice and serve the mulled wine warm.

Blackcurrant punch

  • ½ L blackcurrant juice, black
  • ½ L apple juice
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar, to taste
  • 4 cloves
  • ½ cinnamon stick
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
  • 1 orange, squeezed
  1. Heat the blackcurrant juice and apple juice with the sugar. Add the spices and simmer everything over a moderate heat for half an hour.
  2. Add the juice of the squeezed lemon and orange. Cover and leave the punch to infuse for 10 minutes after simmering. Remove the spices and serve the punch while still warm.

Swedish Christmas drink - Julmust

  • 6 dl Citro
  • 7 dl orange juice or pineapple juice
  • 2 lemons, squeezed
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Fruit slices (kiwi, strawberries, orange slices) Preparation:
  1. Boil the cinnamon sticks in 2 dl water for about 6 minutes and then leave everything to cool.
  2. Then mix the cinnamon water, orange juice and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Add the citrus and fruit slices just before serving.
