The most beautiful Easter nest

What a cool surprise!

It doesn't always have to be expensive, store-bought Easter presents . You can easily make beautiful and creative Easter nests yourself.

All you need is a nest, filling material, gifts for the nest and a few colorful decorative items.

For the nest:

Cardboard box or egg carton
Wrapped in colorful tissue or wrapping paper. Or painted with bright colors. Neocolor, watercolors, crayons or felt-tip pens.
Woven baskets
Can be bought in almost all grocery stores at the moment.
Plate
Either use the plate itself as a nest or plaster the underside of the plate and use the plaster plate as a nest.
Plant pots or saucers
You can also paint these decoratively or wrap them in colorful paper. These nests can be planted directly with beautiful flowers or fine herbs in spring.

Filling material

Hay or straw
Can be found in pet shops or at the farmer in the village. Be careful if the person receiving the gift suffers from hay fever or grass allergies! Then it is better to use artificial fillers.
Artificial "hay"
The best known are the green wood wool threads. However, these are also available in natural brown.
Tissue or crepe paper
You can use this to add colorful accents to your nest.
Moss
Allow it to dry in the sun or in the cellar before you line your nest with it. If you want to use it fresh, place some foil underneath so that it does not soak the nest.
Absorbent cotton
Either dye the absorbent cotton, leave it white or cover it with colored tissue paper at the end.
