Transform your bathroom into a personal wellness oasis

It doesn't always have to be an expensive wellness hotel . You can also find relaxation at home, in your bathroom, with a few simple tips. Take some time for yourself and pamper your skin with homemade care products.

Olive oil serves as the basis for this. Olive oil is at the top of the list of beauty products. It has a calming effect on our skin and strengthens its natural defenses. It also has an antioxidant effect, which means that olive oil protects the skin from free radicals. Free radicals are produced, for example, by exhaust fumes in the air and the sun. If your skin is not protected, the radicals attack the skin cells , which means that your skin can no longer fulfill various functions.

Fragrant milk bath - bathe like Cleopatra
Cleopatra swore by a donkey's milk bath with olive oil. Add 1 cup of whole milk and half a cup of olive oil to the bath water. For a pleasant fragrance, you can also add dried lavender and dried orange peel.

Shower scrub - spring cleaning for the body
Mix 2 tablespoons of granular sea salt with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Take the mixture into the shower and rub the entire body in circular movements, piece by piece. This removes dead skin cells, dirt and sebum and leaves your skin feeling velvety soft.

Nourishing mask made from honey, almonds and olive oil
Take 1 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp almond bran, 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 egg yolk. Mix together to form a creamy mixture and apply to your face and décolleté. Leave the mask on for around 20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water, leaving your skin looking fresh and nourished.

Strengthening hair pack
Give your hair back its elasticity and shine. To do this, mix 2 tablespoons of liquid honey with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and heat the mixture. Now you can massage the mixture into your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wrap your hair in a pre-heated towel to enhance the effect of the pack. After 20 minutes, wash your hair out with warm water and shampoo.
