Make your own spring decorations

Are you ready for spring fever? Then bring spring home and decorate your home to your heart's content. We have a craft idea for you and your children.

Chirping band made from pompoms

Material:

• Yarn
• cardboard
• beads
• Fabric remnants, foam rubber or any ribbons
• scissors
• pencil
• Liquid glue
• Large needle

Instructions:

1. Cut out two cardboard circles (diameter 9 cm) with a hole (diameter 3 cm) in the middle
2. Wrap the two cardboard circles with the yarn until no hole is visible. With the large needle, you can still get through even if the hole is small.
3. Then cut the yarn between the two cardboard circles with the scissors
4. To hang, pull another piece of yarn between the two cardboard circles and knot together
5. Remove the cardboard until a fluffy pompom ball is revealed
6. Decorate it as desired with beak, eyes, wings and feet. Then secure with glue.
7. Now hang the funny birds up wherever you like. Tip: The chirping band looks particularly beautiful on an Easter tree.

You can also buy colorful pompoms for your small children in the retail trade, which can be embellished to your heart's content.
