If you are in good shape, you can climb stairs more easily , climb a mountain in no time at all and simply feel better.

It is difficult to improve your fitness without leaving the house. Unless you are in possession of an exercise bike. But that doesn't mean you have to buy one now. Your stamina will already improve if you incorporate a few changes into your daily routine .

Exercises to do at home

  • Arm circles: Stand at a wide open window. Place your feet hip-width apart. Stretch your arms straight out to the side. Draw circles and figure 8 shapes in the air with your fingertips. Vary the speed.
  • Running and jumping in place: Turn your favorite series into a sports timer. While your favorite series is running, you can get your circulation going by jumping up and down in place or marching in place, for example. If you have space, jumping rope is a great way to increase your stamina.
  • Climbing stairs: Use the stairwell for your workout. March up and down the stairs at a brisk pace a few times. You will see that over time you will manage more and more rounds.
  • Dancing: If your favorite song is playing on the radio, turn up the volume and shake your hips to it. Gets your stamina going and is fun too! Perhaps you can inspire someone in your family to dance along spontaneously.

In everyday life

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator whenever possible.
  • Go shopping or to the post office on foot or by bike instead of using the car.
  • Make an appointment with a friend for a regular walk.
  • Sunday walks with the whole family are fun and you can enjoy the sun.
  • If you have a few minutes to spare, hop or march in place. Even short exercise sessions will bring success.

Treppensteigen

Bei mir im Haus gibt es 15 Sufen bis in den Keller,ich gehe (flott)hinunter,unten 3m,hin und zurück durch den Flur,dann 15 Stufen hinauf.Mittlerweile schaffe ich in einer1/2 Std. 100 mal. Anfangs habe ich die Hälfte geschafft. Die Steigerung geht sehr schnell.
